As a professional engineer Mr. Marlborough has provided design services for commercial, residential, industrial, federal, and municipal projects with both national and local engineering firms.  These services have included structural engineering, civil site design and construction layout, site planning and water resource projects.  In the course of providing these services he has coordinated and maintained relationships with both public and private clients and delivered accurately designed projects within budget  and on time.  Mr. Marlborough has nearly 25 years of experience in structural and civil engineering.

Mr. Marlborough’s experience involves producing engineering calculations, designs and drawings for the construction of single- and multi-family residential, commercial and public facility structures. He designs steel, concrete and wood structures, including shallow and deep foundations.  His responsibilities also include construction administration duties such as reviewing shop drawings, addressing requests for information, plan revisions and on-site inspections.  Mr. Marlborough has also worked on historic restorations and structural evaluations of multi-story buildings, including design of repairs and renovations. He has participated in building expansion projects where he has explored the options for structural adaptations for the proposed expansion along with possible modifications of the existing buildings. The structural aspects of such projects usually include careful investigative demolition to verify the key existing conditions. He has also worked in the design of new foundations for existing houses that have to be elevated.

Mr. Marlborough has prepared plans, specifications, and construction documents related to various multi-family and residential developments.  He has also designed site layout and utilities for larger venues such as the former New Orleans Zephyrs Baseball Stadium, the UNO Research and Technology Park as well as schools, Industrial, commercial and retail facilities.
